The Jockey Club Rooms were delighted to host a magical night with Bentley Vindis Group to celebrate the heritage of Bentley and the amazing Bentley Boys from their win of Le Mans in 1927, 1928, 1929 & 1930. The Club re-created the Seven Course Dinner created by The Savoy Hotel in 1927, with a contemporary twist. For this special evening, we served cured salmon with compressed melon on a black sourdough bread with a caviar and citrus fruit dressing to start. This was followed by timbale of sole and a lobster bisque. For the main course, our guests enjoyed a filet mignon, red wine jus, potato and thyme terrine served with a white house salad.
